Linda Warfel

Linda H. Warfel has over forty years of experience in teaching, training, and publishing. She has extensive experience working with public and private schools in more than twenty countries. She supports educators, parents, booksellers, publishers, and organizations at local and global conferences such as the International Reading Association, International Literacy Association, and TESOL. Linda was a speaker for the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) at the Bologna Book Fair and Frankfurt Book Fair on Global Learning Initiatives.

In 2009, Linda became a visiting Professor at East China Normal University in Shanghai, where she helped design and teach a new bilingual certification class for Early Childhood Education undergraduates. In 2011, Linda was recognized by the International Reading Association as their first International Literacy Ambassador. After her long career as Vice President, Strategic Business Development at Scholastic Asia, Linda is involved as an advisor and sponsor to literacy organizations, such as the Global Center for Innovation and Learning and the Global Book Alliance. In 2026, the International Development in Asia Chapters awarded Linda the Lifetime Literacy Champion Award.
