What Should We Preserve When Everything Can Be Generated?

This reflective essay explores one of education’s most pressing questions: What should schools preserve when artificial intelligence can generate almost anything? Drawing on classroom observations and current developments in AI, the author argues that while AI offers powerful opportunities to personalize learning and support teachers, it also risks diminishing the very processes that make learning meaningful.
